countertops; painting

Not much time to write, but here’s a quick update of some big changes.

The countertops were installed (Dupont Zodiaq in Abyss Black) and we got the first coat of paint on the walls.  There is still much to do, but we’re getting there.

What do you think of the paint colors?  I'm loving this green we chose for the living room.

I love the green, but oh how much do I love that kitchen! And that marble countertop? How beautiful! I am totally dazzled by the choices you made and love that you share it all with us. Keep it up guys, you're doing very well. Merry Christmas! xxoo

b-e-a-utiful!

Thanks, Craig for sharing this blog. So fun to watch the progress! In both houses I have bought, I am the "move-in-ready" type so I give you guys major respect for this work!

Coming together nicely.

It's SCARY how similar our tastes and homes are in many respects.

Your exposed fireplace is rather similar to ours. Your kitchen is also very similar. Floors, yes, similar.

Obviously, I like what you're doing! :)

Love the green and the brick, big fan of exposed brick. I saw an image elsewhere and was pretty sure it was an IKEA kitchen, so I clicked through to check :-). Do we know your kitchen from www.ikeafans.com? It's seems like I've seen that Adel Medium Brown layout, but I couldn't place it, and couldn't find a link to Project Rowhouse.

We'd love to get some finished shots of the kitchen when you're done, it's looking like it'll be stunning ;-).

Thanks, all.

James, I am on IkeaFans - although haven't yet posted any pictures. I will eventually though. Thanks for the comments!

Keep checking back, tile floors and that backsplash will be in soon enough!

The green is the perfect, color-wheel complimentary color to the faded brick. Can't go wrong with that.

Sorry if you've posted this elsewhere already: what IS that lovely green color on the walls? I love it!
